Head Coach Frank Cheek’s Comments
“It will be nice to get home and play in front of our fans.  It has been a rough start to the season. … We have struggled, but we are improving and I am particularly pleased with the play of some of our younger players.  (Vaneza) Hoover has been pitching well.  She has pitched better than her record would indicate.  We just haven’t hit for her. And, our young hitters (Chrissy Stalf and Gia Hampton) are doing well.”
