ARCATA — Humboldt State tight end Matt Devlin has earned Great Northwest Athletic Conference all-academic selection, the GNAC office announced Tuesday.
Devlin, who has started every game this fall, has posted a cumulative 3.25 grade point average. The junior from Chugiak, Alaska, is a kinesiology major.
Devlin has also been one of HSU's most consistent players, ranking second on the team with 30 pass receptions. He has totaled 453 yards receiving, an average of 50.3 per game.
Humboldt State finishes its season Saturday with a 1 p.m. game against league opponent Dixie State in Redwood Bowl.
