LA JOLLA, Calif. — Humboldt State track and field athlete Megan Rolland and Chico State men’s soccer player Adam Raish were named California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Male and Female Scholar-Athletes of the Year, respectively, it was announced  at the CCAA Executive Council Meetings in La Jolla.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Humboldt State's Megan Rolland put it all on the line in her final collegiate cross country race Saturday, eventually finishing 58th in the 184-runner field at the NCAA Division II Championships.

ARCATA — Megan Rolland makes her first trip to the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships this week, traveling to Evansville, Ind., to represent Humboldt State after qualifying as an individual at the West Region Championships. The senior from Emmett, Idaho, will line up with 183 other runners from all over the country for the scheduled noon Central Time start.

ARCATA — Championships season begins Saturday when Humboldt State hosts the California Collegiate Athletic Association meet at McKinleyville's Beau Pre Golf Course. Nineteen schools will be represented in the event, which begins with the women's 6K race at 9 a.m. and is followed by the men's 8K race at 9:45 a.m.
