Johnson and Wilder were representing HSU's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), which recently collected food as admission charge to the group's annual spring ball. Each year SAAC supports charitable activities, which in recent history have included Make-a-Wish, Habitat for Humanity and Arcata Endeavor. SAAC members also participate in community and campus outreach efforts such as Read Across America and the CHOICES alcohol and drug education program.
